Provide Helpful Information In Your Blog

People love to be helped and they want their questions answered and these are 2 key elements, which will attract people to your blog. It’s all about doing the research for your readers, which will prove to them that you know your stuff and know what you’re doing.

Discover what your audience wants to read about. You can get some insights from your social media and you should be able to find clues so that you can find out what they need help with.

Tell Readers What The Article Is About

At the outset, it can be a little bit like “trial and error” as you try to find readers. Initially, tell them exactly what you are writing about, it could be that it’s just what they are looking for.

Concentrate on providing good content, which is interesting and engaging. It will take you time to be creative and different and any article must be well researched. Keep it fairly simple and get to the point. Tell your readers how you are going to help them in the first paragraph.

Post Consistently

Consistency is key. Decide how often you want to post your blog and stick to it. Try to post once a week and at minimum, once a month. Schedule it into your “to do” list and make sure your blog is ready every week. You will be writing about topics that you are on expert, so write passionately. However, many business owners in their familiarity with their subject forget that their readers aren’t such experts. So again, keep it simple and have fun writing - you are trying to help people.

Tips For Success

 •    A compelling headline

•    Regular blogs

•    Easy to read

•    Correct spelling and grammar

•    Clear photographs, diagrams

•    Sharing, following and commenting buttons

•    Fresh content

•    Develop your personal style

So it all boils down to writing about what your readers want and not what you want. A beautifully constructed blog will be of no use if it’s not helping your readers.

What To Do Next

Writing and Blogging provides articles for many clients and writes on many subjects. We have the time, if you don’t, and we think outside of the box to provide creative, unique and interesting posts. Often, because we are not so close to your business, we can see more clearly what readers may struggle with, what they need help with and what questions they need answered.
